Terms of use

These terms are between you and , which trades as Nextstep4u and operates nextstep4u.in. Using the site or buying a batch means you accept them.

What we sell

Practice material for competitive examinations: mock tests, sectional tests, previous-year papers and the analysis that follows an attempt. We also publish government job notifications, which are free and require no account.

We are not connected to TNPSC, any recruitment board or any government body. We do not conduct examinations, we do not process applications, and we never collect an application fee or your documents. Apply only on the official portal named in each notification.

What we do not promise

• We do not promise you will pass. Nobody honestly can. Our tests follow the published pattern and our analysis is our own work.
• Notifications are reproduced from official announcements and checked before publication, but the official notice always governs. Read it before you apply.
• Exam patterns change between cycles. We update our papers when they do, which may change what a batch contains after you buy it.

Your account

An account belongs to one person. Your mobile number identifies you, and you are responsible for what happens under it.

You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian agree to these terms for you.

What ends an account

We suspend accounts, without a refund, for:

• sharing a login so that more than one person uses the batch;
• copying, recording, republishing or selling our questions, solutions or analysis anywhere, including in a coaching class, a Telegram group or a PDF;
• attempting to obtain answers during a live attempt, or interfering with the test engine, the timer or another candidate's attempt;
• automated access, scraping, or attempting to reach data that is not yours.

If you believe a suspension was wrong, email us and a person will look at it. We keep a record of every account action.

Attempts and results

A batch states how many attempts each test allows. Time is measured by our server, not your device, so a slow connection does not cost you minutes. Your answers are saved on your device the moment you tap them and are sent on in the background, so a dropped connection does not lose them.

Results and analysis are generated from your answers by our scoring engine. If you believe a question or its answer key is wrong, report it from the solutions page. If we agree, we correct the key and rescore every affected attempt.

Paying

Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST at the rate applicable to online educational services. Payment is taken by Razorpay on their hosted page; your card details never reach our servers.

A tax invoice is issued when the payment is confirmed and stays in your purchases. Cancellation and refunds are covered by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Access runs to the date shown at checkout and on your invoice. It is not a subscription and does not renew. We will never charge you again without you asking us to.

Our material

Questions, solutions, analysis, the design of this site and the software behind it are ours. A batch buys you personal use of them for the season, not ownership and not a licence to distribute.

If something goes wrong

We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee it is uninterrupted. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here removes a right you have under Indian consumer law.

Changes

We may change these terms. If a change materially affects a batch you have already bought, we will tell you at the address on your account before it takes effect.

Which law applies

Indian law. Courts at have exclusive jurisdiction. Please email us first — almost everything is settled that way.
